Presenting the Timex Men's Watch TW2W44700, built around a 37.5 mm stainless steel case polished to a mirror finish, with softly rounded flanks and short lugs that pull the strap tight against the case sides. The bezel is narrow and equally polished, so the green sunray dial fills almost the entire opening: the colour runs from a bright bottle green at the centre to a deeper shade near the rim, crossed by fine radial brushing. Faceted silver batons mark every hour, doubled and wider at 12, 3, 6 and 9, over a printed minute track on the outer flange. The Q logo sits directly above the TIMEX signature under 12 o'clock, QUARTZ is printed above 6, and a framed rectangular aperture at 3 shows the day in full letters next to the date. The hands are polished silver batons with a slim central seconds hand, the knurled crown sits at 3, and the black leather strap carries a deep natural grain with visible stitching at the lugs.

The movement is quartz, driving hours, minutes and centre seconds plus the day and date complication read through the single window at 3 o'clock. The domed acrylic crystal is the same material used on the vintage models this shape descends from: warm in the light, and easily polished back if it picks up a mark. Case thickness is 13 mm and water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, enough for washing hands, rain and a swim at the surface.

Timex traces its roots back to the Waterbury Clock Company, founded in Connecticut in 1854, and became the watch that millions of people wore every day through the twentieth century. The quartz models of the 1970s, with their wide cushioned cases, coloured dials and day and date windows, are the direct ancestors of this reference, reissued in the original proportions rather than blown up to modern sizes.
