Introducing the Timex Men's Watch TW2Y56800, a 40 mm stainless steel piece built on the angular case shape Timex brought back from its 1970s catalogue. The steel is worked on two levels, brushed flats across the shoulders and polished chamfers falling towards the integrated lugs, and it surrounds a black bezel ring printed in white with a full minute track and numerals from 05 to 60. The black dial carries applied baton indices with luminous fill, the Q Timex logo under 12 o'clock and the NASA wordmark above 6 o'clock. At 9 o'clock a sub-dial printed SUN to SAT sits over a grey lunar surface disc and is read by a red pointer, while at 3 o'clock a second counter is graduated in steps of five with its own slim hand. Between them, an aperture at 6 o'clock shows a yellow crescent moon and small stars against a deep night sky. White sword hands, a thin sweep seconds hand, a fluted crown at 3 o'clock and a black PU leather strap with visible stitching and a steel buckle finish the piece.

The movement is quartz, chosen for accuracy and for the direct link with the electronic Timex watches of the late seventies. It drives central hours, minutes and seconds, the day of the week indicator at 9 o'clock, the graduated counter at 3 o'clock and the celestial display at 6 o'clock. The case measures 40 mm across and 13.5 mm thick, the crystal is acrylic in the traditional Timex manner, warm to look through and easy to polish, and water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, enough for washing hands, rain and a swim.
