Meet the Timex Peanuts Men's Watch TW2Y48500, built around a round stainless steel case of 40 mm with a polished silver finish, straight lugs and a narrow flat bezel that frames a wide black dial. The outer flange carries a printed tachymeter scale reading from 500 down to 60, with the TACHYMETER wording near 1 o'clock. Applied silver batons mark the hours, while white numerals 12, 9 and 3 sit inside rectangular frames at their positions and the TIMEX MARLIN signature is printed below twelve. Three counters organise the dial: at 9 o'clock Snoopy appears in his Flying Ace pose with the red scarf, over a track marked 20 and 40; at 3 o'clock a 24 hour register runs 04, 08, 12, 16, 20 and 24; at 6 o'clock a 60 minute scale is graduated in steps of ten. A framed date window sits between 4 and 5. Slim silver hands, a needle central sweep hand, a fluted crown and two rectangular pushers finish the case, mounted on a black PU leather strap with tonal stitching and squared ends.

A quartz movement drives the display: central hours, minutes and sweep hand, the date at 4:30 and the three counters described above, with the pushers set either side of the crown. The case measures 13.5 mm in thickness and is closed by an acrylic crystal, the same warm, slightly domed material used on the vintage Timex models this design revisits. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, enough for rain and hand washing.

Timex has been making watches in Waterbury since 1854, and the Marlin line, born in the 1960s, remains the purest expression of that mid century American style: compact case, clean black dial, no excess. The Peanuts collaboration adds Charles M. Schulz's most famous character to that stage, turning a classic dial layout into a piece with real personality.
