Meet the Timex Expedition North TW4B33900, the all black digital face of the collection. The 49 mm polycarbonate case is matte black, sculpted with moulded guards that protect the four pushers, and blue structural inserts appear along the flanks and under the lugs. Four hex screws anchor the bezel at the corners, and the printed inner ring carries the command legends in white: INDIGLO and DST RECALL on the left, SPLIT 12H/24H and START on the right, MODE, NEXT EXIT, RESET SET and STOP around the lower half. TIMEX arcs in blue across the top of the dial ring, 100 M SOLAR sits in blue at six, and EXPEDITION is embossed on the lower case. The dark LCD displays large pale green digits: day of the week on the upper line, hours, minutes and seconds in the centre, date underneath, with AM, DST, alarm and solar charge symbols framing them. The black silicone strap is punched with recessed dots for grip and ventilation.

The movement is solar: light, natural or artificial, keeps the cell charged, so there is no battery to replace. The digital module drives the time in 12 or 24 hour format, calendar with day and date, alarm, chronograph with split function, daylight saving time adjustment and the Indiglo backlight that turns the whole display luminous green at the press of the top left pusher. The acrylic glass sits flush over the module, the case measures just 12 mm thick and water resistance is rated at 10 ATM.
