Timex Expedition North Men's Watch TW4B33800

Meet the Timex Expedition North TW4B33800, a 49 mm outdoor digital built around a round polycarbonate case in matte black, with a grained texture over the shoulders and four black pushers sunk into sculpted guards. The stepped bezel carries its control legends moulded straight into the plastic: INDIGLO and DST/RECALL on the left flank, SPLIT/12H/24H and START on the right, MODE and NEXT/EXIT below, RESET/SET and STOP facing them. A yellow marker at twelve and a thin yellow ring around the display cut through the black, picked up again by the 100 M / SOLAR line at six and by EXPEDITION in bronze lettering across the lower case. The negative black display reads in pale green: day of the week on the top line, AM and DST flags, large hours and minutes with running seconds alongside, and the date on its own row above the alarm icon. The brown silicone strap is perforated with rows of round dimples and closes on a black buckle.

Inside works a solar movement: the cell under the display converts daylight and indoor light into stored energy, so there is no battery to change. The module drives a full calendar with day and date, the choice between 12 and 24 hour formats, a daylight saving time shift, alarm, timing functions with start, stop, split and reset, plus a recall memory. The INDIGLO backlight floods the whole display at the press of the upper left pusher. An acrylic crystal protects the front and the case is rated to 10 ATM, with a thickness of only 12 mm.
