Presenting the Timex Women's Watch TW2Y57500, a compact 30 mm round stainless steel case entirely finished in warm gold tone. The case flanks are polished so they catch the light along the whole silhouette, while the bezel is worked with fine coin-edge knurling on its outer rim and carries an engraved numeral scale in relief, a detail borrowed from the tool watches of the seventies. The dial is quiet and legible: applied dots mark most of the hours, three raised rectangular batons sit at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, and a small triangle marks 12. Under the triangle you read the Q TIMEX logo on two lines, and just above 6 o'clock the wording QUARTZ SINCE 1972. Gold hour and minute hands with an open circular counterweight are joined by a needle-thin seconds hand. The fluted crown sits at 3 o'clock, and the integrated gold tone steel bracelet alternates wide flat links with narrow spacers for a soft ripple across the wrist.

Inside runs a quartz movement, chosen for its accuracy and for the fact that it asks nothing of you but a battery. It drives hours, minutes and a central sweep of seconds, nothing superfluous. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, so rain, handwashing and a splash at the pool are no concern. The crystal is acrylic, the traditional Timex choice: warm in appearance, shock tolerant and easy to polish if it ever picks up a scratch. Total case thickness is only 9.5 mm, which lets the watch slide under a cuff without effort.
