Introducing the
Casio G-SHOCK DW-6900CMG-3ER, one of the boldest expressions of the DW-6900 family. The first thing that commands attention is the resin case and strap printed with a woodland camouflage pattern in army green, dark green and black, with irregular organic patches that directly evoke military aesthetics. The upper bezel carries the «G-SHOCK» inscription in gold lettering over the camouflage, while the inner bezel ring features a metallic gold finish that frames the dial. The side buttons, crown guards and caseback maintain a matte black finish, creating an elegant contrast with the gold accents throughout.
The dial features a deep black background. In the upper section sit the three circular subdials that are the defining signature of the DW-6900: the two on the left display a fan-blade design with four black vanes against a black background, while the one on the right shows a graduated scale from 10 to 50. Below the subdials, a narrower digital display shows the day of the week and date in abbreviated format. The larger main display shows the time in 12 or 24-hour format with seconds. The gold ring includes the inscription «ILLUMINATOR» at the top and «WATER 20BAR RESIST» at the bottom, plus «G-SHOCK SHOCK RESIST» centered above the displays. Button labels (ADJUST, MODE, SPLIT-RESET, START-STOP, ALARM ON/OFF) are printed in gold on the camouflage bezel.
Inside runs the Casio module 3529, a digital caliber offering a comprehensive set of functions for intensive use: 1/100-second stopwatch with up to 24-hour capacity and split function, daily alarm with hourly time signal, countdown timer, automatic calendar and LED backlight with afterglow function. The 12/24-hour mode completes a functional set oriented toward both sporting activity and demanding everyday use.
G-SHOCK was born in 1983 at the hands of engineer Kikuo Ibe, who after accidentally breaking his father's watch set out to create an indestructible timepiece. After 200 prototypes and the legendary 10-meter drop test, one of the most enduring and influential collections in watchmaking history was born. The DW-6900 is one of the founding models of the line, instantly recognizable by its triple window layout and robust silhouette. This CMG-3ER version takes that legacy a step further with its camouflage aesthetic and gold accents that place it among the most sought-after models by collectors and tactical style enthusiasts alike.
