Introducing the
Casio G-SHOCK DW-6900CF-1ER, a version that transforms the classic DW-6900 format into an unmistakable piece of military-inspired design. The matte black resin case preserves the bold, rounded silhouette of the series, with "G-SHOCK" engraved in gold across the upper bezel and functional labels "ADJUST", "MODE", "SPLIT·RESET" and "START·STOP" distributed around the frame. At the bottom of the case, a protective bumper houses the gold "G" emblem, a signature detail of the DW-6900 family. The smooth black resin strap maintains the overall chromatic consistency.
The most striking element is the dial: beneath the mineral crystal lies a military camouflage background in olive green, dark green and earthy brown tones, over which three circular upper subdials are printed with gold-framed bezels and black centres. These circles are part of the classic look of the DW-6900. The large main digital display occupies the central lower band, showing the time in bold format (10:58:50 in the photo), while an upper line shows the day of the week and the date (SU 6-30). The ALM and SIG indicators show when the alarm and the hourly time signal are on. The black, camo green and gold colour palette gives this model a strong tactical identity.
Inside works the Casio module 3529, a digital calibre packed with a wide range of functions. The watch features a 1/100-second stopwatch up to 24 hours, countdown timer with auto-repeat, daily alarm with hourly time signal, automatic calendar until 2099, 12/24-hour format and LED backlight (Illuminator) for night reading. Water resistance reaches 200 metres (20 BAR), making it suitable for swimming and surface water activities. Shock resistance is the defining characteristic of the entire G-SHOCK line, with an internal and external structure engineered to absorb impacts from multiple angles.
The G-SHOCK line was born in 1983 from the vision of engineer Kikuo Ibe, who set out to create an indestructible watch capable of surviving a 10-metre free fall and withstanding 10 bars of pressure. After 200 failed prototypes, the first DW-5000C passed every test. Four decades later, G-SHOCK remains the global benchmark in high-resistance timekeeping, adopted by special forces, extreme athletes and collectors worldwide. The DW-6900, introduced in the 1990s, is one of the most recognisable silhouettes in the collection, further popularised by its prominent place in international hip-hop and urban culture.
