Tiwi FLAVIO-C4 Eyeglasses

We present the Tiwi FLAVIO-C4, an eyeglass proposal that embodies Alicante acetate craftsmanship: independent, hand-made, with no licensee behind it. The square shape is resolved in Italian Mazzucchelli M49 acetate, a material recognised for its density, hand-polished finish and ability to keep colour and geometry after months of heavy use. The 52 mm lens width with 17 mm bridge and 150 mm temple positions the model in a balanced proportion that sits without invading the face. The hand-polished finish in the Alicante workshop respects the block's pattern without hiding it under coats of lacquer, and the temples are mounted with standard hinges of precise opening.

The signature detail is on the temple. Over the acetate appears the Tiwi signature engraved on the temple, house signature since 2009, accompanied on the inside of the temple by the engraved model name and Alicante origin. Tiwi engraves its name on the original material, without added metal, no rivets, no visible screws, keeping the brand's signature lightweight feel. The front brings just the right contrast to fit a contemporary urban environment without stridency, and the matte finish prevents reflections on screens or car windows. Every Tiwi is assembled and inspected one by one in Alicante before leaving the workshop.

Tiwi was born in Alicante in 2009 as an independent hand-made eyewear project. The brand differs from the classic Italian licensee model because it designs, prototypes and assembles every frame in its Alicante workshop using Italian Mazzucchelli M49 acetate, the same block used by Milan high-end eyewear, but with its own finish that looks to the Mediterranean: saturated palettes and urban silhouettes without pretension. Tiwi remains independent, with no licensee group behind it, which allows it to refine its capsule catalogue year after year instead of following the industrial calendar. Buying Tiwi is buying real Made in Spain, not a sticker.
