Meet the Timex Waterbury Men's Watch TW2Y70500, built around an ice blue dial framed by a black bezel with a white tachymeter scale that runs from 500 down to 60. The round stainless steel case measures 39 mm across and 13 mm thick, with polished flanks and a fluted crown set between two pushers on the right side. On the pale blue dial the TIMEX logo sits above THE WATERBURY, while the lower half carries EST. IN 1854, CHRONOGRAPH and 50m = 165ft. Two black counters break the blue: the left one graduated from 10 to 60, the right one marked 6, 12, 18 and 24. Applied silver stick indices, faceted hands and a fine minute track complete the layout. The three link steel bracelet alternates brushed outer links with polished centres and closes on a folding clasp.

A quartz movement drives the time and the chronograph, with the central sweep hand timing seconds, the left counter adding up the elapsed minutes and the right counter following the elapsed hours over a full day. The tachymeter ring on the bezel converts a timed distance into average speed, a habit inherited from motorsport dials. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, so rain, hand washing and a swim are no problem, and the mineral crystal protects the dial from daily knocks.

Waterbury is named after the Connecticut town where Timex started making clocks and watches in 1854. That factory turned timekeeping into something ordinary people could own, and the collection keeps the same idea alive: honest mechanics, readable dials and mid century racing cues at a fair price.
