Presenting the Timex T80 MM6 TW2Y50200, a gold-tone digital piece that compresses the whole T80 language into a 19.8 mm stainless steel case. The case is cut with angled corners, polished on the flanks and softly brushed across the top surfaces, so each facet returns the light differently. The TIMEX wordmark sits at the top of a champagne gold plate, directly above the rectangular LCD window with its pale white background and dense black segments. Below the display Timex prints the full 0 to 23 hour scale in two rows, with the numeral 6 enclosed in a circle, the signature mark of the MM6 project. A small round pusher sits on the left flank, a fluted crown-shaped pusher on the right, and the integrated gold stainless steel bracelet leaves the case with no visible lugs, built from links with fine vertical ribbing that reads like a stack of thin bars.

A quartz movement drives the digital display, showing hours and minutes with the blinking separator and the small indicator dot at the top right of the screen. The mineral glass sits flush with the bezel and resists the daily scratching that a piece worn this close to the hand always collects. Water resistance is rated at 3 ATM, enough for rain, splashes and hand washing, not for swimming or diving.

The T80 goes back to the digital Timex models of the early 1980s, with their stepped bezels, integrated steel bracelets and printed hour scales. Timex has been making watches since 1854 in Waterbury, Connecticut, and built its reputation on hard-wearing, honest movements sold by the million. The MM6 reading of the T80 keeps every code of the original and shrinks it down to ring proportions.
