Meet the Timex Essex Men's Watch TW2W13900, a 46 mm round brass case in silver tone whose lugs and flanks are cut into wide facets, brushed on the flats and polished on the chamfers so the light breaks differently with every turn of the wrist. The broad satin bezel frames a green dial with a fine sunray grain radiating from the centre, deep bottle green at the rim and brighter under direct light. Applied baton indices coated in cream luminous material mark the hours, replaced at twelve by an oversized applied numeral, all bordered by a printed minute track and a small inverted triangle at the top of the dial. The TIMEX signature sits below twelve, WATER RESISTANT is printed above six, and a white day and date window at three reads WED 14. Luminous hour and minute hands are joined by a slim silver seconds hand, while a wide knurled crown sits on the right flank. The head rides on a three link stainless steel bracelet, brushed outer links and polished centre links, closed by a deployment clasp.

Inside works a quartz movement showing hours, minutes and central seconds, with the day of the week and the date displayed together in the aperture at three o'clock. The mineral glass resists everyday scratches, the case stands only 10 mm thick despite its 46 mm diameter, and water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, enough for handwashing, rain and a swim at the surface. The luminous treatment on hands and indices keeps the time legible in a dark restaurant or a late flight.
