Introducing the Timex Atelier Chronograph M1q SST Brace Watch TW6A06900, a 40 mm chronograph built with the logic of an instrument and the finishing of a display-case piece. The first thing your eye catches is the black bezel carrying a tachymeter scale engraved in white, running from 500 down to 60, with the word TACHYMETER set at the top. Inside it sits a deep black dial with a very fine honeycomb texture that only reveals itself when light falls sideways across it. Two circular silver counters at nine and three break that black with clean contrast, their printed numerals sharp and small. Applied faceted indices, polished baton hands, a needle-thin chronograph seconds hand that crosses the dial from edge to edge, and a framed date window at six. On the flank, two rectangular pushers and a wide fluted crown. SWISS MADE is printed just under the date.

The watch runs on a quartz movement with chronograph function. The round case is made of steel, measures 40.00 mm across and 12.70 mm thick, and is protected by a sapphire crystal, the hardest and most scratch-resistant glass used in watchmaking. Water resistance is rated at 10 ATM, the equivalent of 100 metres, as confirmed by the 100m/330ft marking on the dial. The steel bracelet, in silver and grey tones, is fitted with a butterfly clasp with push-button release that folds away completely under the wrist.
