Michael Kors Hayes Watch MK9300

Michael Kors Hayes MK9300: a rectangular statement for the evening

Some evenings ask for a watch with a little more presence. The Hayes MK9300 was drawn for them. Michael Kors takes its cue from the bold rectangular watches of the seventies and gives the shape a modern, architectural edge in polished stainless steel.

The dial moves from warm brown at the centre to black at the edges, like the last light in a bar after closing time. Three chronograph subdials, slim silver hands and a single Roman XII keep it easy to read, while the date sits quietly between 4 and 5 o'clock.

It is for the man who wears a tailored jacket without a tie and knows the details carry the look. The dark brown croc-embossed leather strap softens the steel and only gets better with every wear.
