Introducing the Maserati Epoca Watch R8871618022, a chronograph built around one single idea: green, taken all the way. The dial is a deep racing green with a sunray finish that opens up towards the centre and darkens near the edges, so the colour shifts every time the wrist moves. Three recessed counters sit at twelve, nine and six, each with a fine snailed base and a red hand of its own. The central chronograph seconds hand is red as well, and it crosses a red trident logo printed beside the white Maserati script. Applied silver baton indices catch the light, the inner flange carries a printed minute track numbered from 10 to 60, and a white date window sits between four and five o'clock. Under it, the line CHRONOGRAPH WR 100 meters. The polished steel case has curved, slightly flared lugs, a fluted crown and two rectangular pushers.

The watch runs on a quartz movement driving three hands, a calendar and the chronograph counters. The round case measures 40.00 mm and is made of steel with a silver-toned polished finish, protected by a mineral crystal. Water resistance is rated at 10 ATM, so rain, hand washing and a swim are not an issue. The genuine leather strap is green, embossed with a crocodile grain and finished with matching green stitching over a natural tan lining. It closes with a standard buckle.
