Fossil Gilmore Watch ES5510

Fossil Gilmore ES5510: built with a jeweller's attention to detail

The Gilmore starts where every good watch should start, with the metal. The case is machined from solid stainless steel and given a warm gold-tone finish, with polished flanks that catch the light and curved lugs that follow the wrist instead of fighting it. A small fluted crown sits at three o'clock, easy to grip with two fingertips.

Look closer at the dial and the layering becomes obvious. A silver-white sunray centre is ringed by a raised minute track, and slim applied Roman numerals mark twelve, three, six and nine while fine gold batons handle the rest. The hands are thin, tapered and perfectly balanced over the axis.
