Daniel Wellington MARLON Watch DW00100838

Presenting the Daniel Wellington Marlon DW00100838, a watch that reinterprets the aesthetic of pocket watches from the last century with an unmistakably contemporary Scandinavian sensibility. The cushion case with gently rounded corners measures 36x32 mm and features a polished gold PVD finish that captures light with warmth and sophistication. The dial stands out for its distinctive ivory linen texture, a fine grid pattern reminiscent of Nordic artisan fabrics that lends visual depth to the design. Gold baton markers, refined and evenly spaced, and arrow-style hands in matching gold tone deliver a clean and elegant time reading, with no date window or sub-dials to interrupt the purity of the layout. The genuine black leather strap features a soft grain and discreet tonal stitching that enhances the contrast with the golden case, completing a visually striking look.

Inside beats a precision Japanese Quartz movement housed in a stainless steel case measuring 36x32 mm, protected by a mineral crystal and rated to 3 ATM water resistance for everyday use. The 16 mm strap width is fully compatible with the DW interchangeable strap ecosystem: leather in various colors, mesh, nylon or rubber can all be swapped in seconds without any tools, thanks to the brand's signature quick-release spring bar system.

Daniel Wellington was founded in 2011 when Filip Tysander, inspired by a British aristocrat named Daniel Wellington who wore NATO straps on classic watches, established in Stockholm a brand combining English elegance with Nordic restraint. The Marlon collection represents an evolution toward bolder forms within that same minimalist DNA, reclaiming the cushion case from watchmaking tradition and giving it a modern, spirited character. In just over a decade, Daniel Wellington became one of the most recognized fashion watch brands in the world.
