The 3.5 cm amulet is built in layers that you read from the centre outwards: a polished gold disc engraved with fine radiating lines that catch the light like spun thread, a tight ring of tiny gold beads, then a band of jet black crystals, a wider halo of champagne stones and a dark outer rim that closes the composition.
