Introducing the
Casio G-SHOCK Watch GMC-2500D-1AER, the analogue G-SHOCK that dresses the octagonal case in brushed steel. A fine horizontal brushing runs from the eight-sided bezel onto the bracelet, framed by polished bevels, and the bezel is engraved PROTECTION and G-SHOCK. The black dial carries raised silver bar indices, slim silver hands with luminous inserts, a small seconds subdial and a three-cell date window.
Inside is Casio module 5757, powered by a CR1025 battery lasting about 2 years, with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. The case measures 46.7 × 43.8 × 12.9 mm and weighs 138 g, pairing bio-based resin with stainless steel, and the bracelet fits wrists from 150 to 205 mm. It is shock resistant and water resistant to 20 bar, with mineral glass. The minute hand advances every 20 seconds, and the functions include a 1-second stopwatch, a full auto calendar to 2099, an amber LED light and Neobrite luminous paint.
G-SHOCK was born in 1983 with the DW-5000C, created by Casio engineer Kikuo Ibe to survive a fall. That square, shock-resistant original shaped the entire line, and the GMC-2500D carries its spirit into a steel-clad analogue design built around the octagonal case, now one of the most recognisable G-SHOCK shapes.
At TicTacArea we have been jewellers since 1993 and online since 1999. As an authorised official Casio distributor, we deliver this watch genuine and factory new, with its official Casio box and documentation.
