Casio G-SHOCK Watch GAC-2500-9AER

Presenting the Casio G-SHOCK Watch GAC-2500-9AER, an octagonal G-SHOCK dressed entirely in saffron yellow. Case, bezel and ribbed strap share the same matte shade, with PROTECTION, MODE, ADJUST, START and LIGHT marked around the bezel. The tone-on-tone dial follows a two-eye layout: a small seconds sub-dial at 3 o'clock, a date window at 9 o'clock, raised bar indices and white hour and minute hands.

Inside is the Casio module 5757, accurate to ±15 seconds per month and powered by a CR1025 battery lasting approximately 2 years. The resin and bio-based resin case measures 46.7 × 44.5 × 12.7 mm, weighs 47 g, is shock resistant and water resistant to 20 bar, with mineral crystal. Functions include date display with full auto calendar to 2099, a 1-second stopwatch, amber LED light, Neobrite luminous material, hand shift to clear the view of the dial and a second hand rest function that saves energy.

G-SHOCK was born in 1983 with the DW-5000C, the first Casio watch built to withstand drops and impacts. The GAC-2500 revisits the legibility and practicality of that original in a contemporary analogue design, keeping the octagonal case that has become a G-SHOCK signature.
