Casio G-SHOCK Watch GAC-2500-7AER

Introducing the Casio G-SHOCK Watch GAC-2500-7AER, an all-white G-SHOCK. Case, bezel and strap share one matte white resin. The white dial holds a small seconds subdial at 10 o'clock and a date window at 4 o'clock. Raised bar indices and parallel-line hands frame the logo, ADJUST, START and LIGHT are moulded into the octagonal bezel, and the strap shows ribbed relief.

Casio module 5757 drives a 46.7 × 44.5 × 12.7 mm, 47 g case in resin and bio-based resin. The bio-based resin strap fits 145 to 215 mm wrists. It is shock resistant, with mineral glass and 20 bar water resistance. The CR1025 battery lasts about 2 years, aided by the second hand rest function, and accuracy is ±15 seconds per month. It adds an amber LED light, Neobrite, a full auto calendar to 2099, a 1-second stopwatch up to 29:59'30'' and hand shift.

G-SHOCK was born in 1983 with the DW-5000C, engineer Kikuo Ibe's answer to watches that broke when dropped. The GAC-2500 brings that first model's practicality and legibility to a contemporary analogue design, with the octagonal shape typical of G-SHOCK.
