Introducing the
Casio G-SHOCK GM-2100N-2AER, the deep navy version of the legendary GA-2100 with a metal case. The photo says it all: a watch where a rich, deep blue wraps around every single element. The octagonal metal case features a brushed-satin finish in deep navy, with polished bevels and corner guards that catch the light with subtle brilliance. The dial shares the same tone, featuring a horizontal brushed texture that adds depth and character. Rectangular silver-toned indices act as hour markers, while the hour and minute hands, also in blue-silver with luminescent treatment, blend seamlessly into the dial. On the left side, a small analog subdial displays the world time function with two hemisphere indicators (N/S). At 4 o'clock, a compact digital display shows the time in 6:30 format and the date in large digits (36), with MUTE, ALM and SIG status indicators. The deep navy resin strap features a grid texture on the inner section, adding grip and personality to the monochromatic ensemble.
Inside runs the Casio module 5611, a quartz analog-digital movement combining three main hands with a multifunctional digital display. The left subdial manages world time across 31 time zones and 48 reference cities. The digital display shows the second time zone, date, and day of the week. Key functions include: 1/100-second stopwatch with capacity up to 23:59'59.99'', countdown timer with end-time alarm, 5 independent daily alarms, world time across 48 cities worldwide, and an auto calendar programmed until the year 2099. The LED backlight illuminates both the display and the dial with a single press. All of this comes under a certified 200-meter water resistance rating.
G-SHOCK was born in 1983 from engineer Kikuo Ibe's obsession with building an indestructible watch. After months of failed prototypes, the triple-protected module survived 10-meter drops and the rest is history. The GM-2100 represents the natural evolution of that legacy: the GA-2100 silhouette, beloved among collectors for its elegant octagonal shape inspired by high-end luxury watches, now featuring a metal case that adds weight, solidity, and a premium finish. The N-2AER navy blue variant completes a proposition where extreme protection meets refined, urban aesthetics.
