Title : Amazing functionality and decent quality for the price.
Comment : I wanted a watch with time synchronization functionality for a while. I do have a digital Casio Wave Ceptor watch that synchronizes with an atomic clock radio tower, but I wanted something analog. Casio Oceanus is an amazing option but very expensive. For me, this Edifice is the next best thing, even though the style and the size is very different from Oceanus. On the plus side, this watch synchronizes with your smartphone, not a radio tower, which is quicker and doesn't need any special conditions for a successful synchronization. You can also quickly switch time zones, set timer length, alarms, and change any settings from your smartphone. On the bad side, the bracelet looks and feels cheap: it's all folded metal, even though links might look solid, they're not, they're just folded in a very clever way (at least there's that; other cheap bracelets just have edges exposed). I did manage to install a better bracelet from Edifice EFR-303 on this, and now the watch looks significantly better.

Introducing the Casio Edifice ECB-30D-1AEF, an ana-digi watch that translates motorsport aesthetics into a design built from brushed and polished stainless steel. The round stainless steel case, with clearly defined crown and lateral pushers, combines brushed finishes on flat surfaces with polished zones on the flanks, creating a textural contrast that elevates the overall perception. The deep black dial integrates three clearly differentiated zones: a circular digital sub-dial at 12 o'clock, framed in black with a dot-matrix display showing local time, date and Bluetooth status; a left sub-dial with large white digital numerals on a black background for chronograph or alarm readout; and a lower tachymeter-style sub-dial with a white perimeter scale, red numerals at the edges and the Bluetooth logo at its center. The main hands are silver with lance-tip finishing and luminescent treatment, accompanied by applied steel-grey indices. The outer stainless steel bezel features engraved minute markers on a black background, with functional silkscreened labels: LIGHT, ADJUST, START, MODE.

Inside operates the Casio module 5686, an ana-digi quartz caliber combining analog hand movement with digital displays. The Bluetooth connectivity allows automatic time synchronization from a smartphone via the Casio Watches app, alarm adjustment and function customization. Functions include: world time with multiple time zones, high-precision chronograph, five independent alarms, daylight saving time function, low battery indicator, automatic calendar until 2099 and LED light for night reading. Water resistance reaches 10 BAR (100 meters), sufficient for swimming and everyday water activities. The integrated stainless steel bracelet with solid-profile links and security clasp ensures comfort and durability.
