Introducing the Aston Martin Timeless Watch MTTS1F501, a watch built around one idea: let you see the mechanism working. The round case is polished to a bright silver finish, with a narrow bezel and a domed crystal that pulls light across the whole dial. That dial is anthracite grey and laid out on two levels: a large white Arabic minute scale running 05, 10, 15 through to 60 around the outer edge, and a much smaller rose gold hour track printed just inside it. The Aston Martin wordmark and the line EST 1913 sit below twelve in the same warm rose gold. The hands are open skeleton batons filled with luminous material and framed in rose gold. Between six and seven a circular aperture cuts through the dial and exposes the balance wheel, its ruby jewel and a golden spring. Facing it, at four, a small rose gold counter with a fine circular guilloche pattern. The fluted crown at three is gold toned. The dark brown perforated leather strap carries two rows of punched holes and contrast stitching along both edges.

Reading it is direct. Hours and minutes come from the central skeleton hands, the auxiliary counter at four keeps its own indication on a separate axis, and the aperture at six turns the beating balance into a permanent detail of the design. The luminous fill on the hands keeps them legible in a dark car park or a late dinner, while the two tone dial layout, white for minutes and rose gold for hours, avoids any confusion between the scales.

The Timeless collection looks back at the marque founded in London in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford: warm metal tones, perforated driving leather and a dial that shows its own engine, the same logic as a bonnet you actually want to open.
