Introducing the Aston Martin Thrill Watch MTRI1F501, a piece built entirely around angles. The case combines straight flanks with wide chamfered shoulders in brushed gunmetal, topped by a matte black bezel with a softened octagonal profile that frames the dial without stealing attention from it. At 3 o'clock the crown is deeply fluted for grip and partly sheltered by the case flank. The blue dial is worked on several levels: concentric circular graining across the outer zone, a black mesh textured panel running through the centre and the applied Aston Martin wings emblem set below 12 o'clock. Applied silver indices carry luminous fill, the sword shaped hour and minute hands have a hollowed central channel, and a lime yellow seconds hand crosses the dial from edge to edge. The blue rubber strap shows a ribbed central section with transverse relief and brushed metal keepers that carry on the line of the lugs.

The multifunction display splits the information into three separate counters. At 9 o'clock a disc marked SUN, MON, TUE and so on gives the day of the week, read by a short pointer and highlighted by a lime yellow arc. At 3 o'clock a numbered disc sits inside a matching lime yellow track, again read by a central pointer. At 6 o'clock a black counter carries a full 24 hour scale with the AM and PM markings, so the day and night position is visible at a glance. Small screw shaped details punctuate the dial flange, echoing the fixings of a chassis.

Thrill is one of the lines in which Aston Martin translates the vocabulary of its cars into a wrist piece: faceted volumes, dark finishes and a single bright accent colour, exactly as the marque has done on its sports cars since 1913. The winged emblem on the dial is the same signature that has run across the radiator grilles of the British manufacturer for over a century.
