Presenting the Aston Martin Icon Watch MTIZ1F503, a world time piece organised around a racing season rather than around the usual capitals. The round silver-tone case is topped by a wide fluted bezel whose vertical grooves catch the light like a machined engine component, and it frames a rotating city ring printed in white, lime green and deep racing green: THE VEGAS, MEXICO, DENVER, AUSTIN, MIAMI, SAO PAULO, SILVERSTONE, MONACO, JEDDAH, YAS MARINA, SHANGHAI, SUZUKA, MELBOURNE, AUCKLAND, HONOLULU. Inside, the black dial carries a 24 hour scale that shades from dark green to acid lime, the Aston Martin winged logo at twelve, the wording GMT RACING ZONE below the centre and a framed date window at three. Applied baton indices and wide open-worked hands are filled with luminous material, while the GMT hand runs in yellow and finishes in a white arrow tip. A green pusher-crown sits on the left flank to drive the inner ring, the main crown at three is knurled to echo the bezel.

The display is analogue: hours, minutes and central seconds, date at three, plus a second time zone read on the yellow 24 hour hand. Line up the city of your choice with the arrow and the ring turns into a full world time reading, from a Silverstone morning to a night race in Las Vegas. The set includes two wrist options: a brushed and polished link bracelet with folding clasp, and a racing green rubber strap with a quilted surface, moulded Aston Martin wings on the tail and the brand name engraved on the steel buckle.

The Icon collection translates the codes of Aston Martin into watchmaking: British sports car proportions, grille inspired knurling, green and lime as the marque signature. Since 1913 the name has stood for hand built grand tourers and for a racing history written at Le Mans, Silverstone and Monaco, the same circuits engraved on this bezel.
