Meet the Aston Martin Formula 1 Watch MTFO1F505, a piece that borrows its shapes straight from the pit lane. The case is a wide cushion, squared off and finished in deep matte black, with four raised guards at the corners that frame the glass like a roll cage. On the right flank sits a knurled crown ringed in lime green, protected by two pushers on the same side. The dial is black and built in layers: a fine minute track runs around the edge with applied white markers, long sword hands carry luminous fill, and the Aston Martin wings appear in green just under twelve, above the printed FORMULA ONE TEAM signature.

Three sunken counters break the surface of the dial. The one at nine is graduated 3, 6, 9 and 12 and carries a yellow hand, the one at three is graduated to 24 for a second time reading, and the one at six is marked 15, 30, 45 and 60 with a lime green arc around it. Two pushers flank the crown, a slim yellow central hand sweeps the whole dial, and a date aperture sits at four o clock, next to the SHOCK RESIST wording printed above six. Everything on the dial is designed to be read at a glance, in white and lime on black.

The strap continues the theme with a deeply moulded texture: FORMULA ONE is embossed on the upper half and aramco on the lower one, the same names that travel on the car. Aston Martin has been building fast, beautiful machines since 1913, and its return to the Formula One grid gave the marque a modern racing identity that this collection translates into a wearable object, green accents included.
